The COVID-19 vaccination programme is progressing in Derbyshire, with qualifying unpaid carers under 65 now being called up for vaccination.
The NHS National Booking System now allows you to create an appointment online for your vaccination if you state that you are an unpaid carer. Within this process, you may be asked for your NHS number If you need help booking an appointment, call 119.
It is important carers take advantage of the opportunity to be vaccinated to protect themselves and those who depend on them.

If you are an unpaid carer who hasn’t registered with us before, then register today using our online registration form, or by calling our office on 01773 833833 or emailing info@derbyshirecarers.co.uk Registering with Derbyshire Carers Association will allow you to receive information, advice and support regarding all aspects of caring. It will also ensure that you are connected to external support services, alerts and updates, not just during the COVID-19 pandemic, but throughout your caring journey.
Please contact the surgery to confirm you are now a registered unpaid carer so we are able to update your records and ensure the relevant ongoing care is noted on your notes.
